Succulento is a family business, which started in July 2014 with the primary focus of reigniting the joy of food, from our heritage of home cooking using fresh produce and creating recipes that have a blast of flavours. We had noticed that a lot of food in the market either lacked taste or had a lot of sugar/salt, which made them unhealthy. Thus, we started creating recipes from our kitchens and proud at how much progress we have made.
In June 2017, we launched a range of six flavours of sauces and a chilli range of four. Our sauces are vegan, gluten/dairy free, low salt/sugar, no artificial colours/thickeners and no chemical preservatives and we also have a ‘no added sugar’ range. Our uniqueness stems from offering the freshness of the farm in a bottle. Our products can be found at farmers shops like Castleton Farm Shop Laurencekirk, Raemoir Garden Centre Banchory and weekend Farmers markets. We also have an online shop on our website www.succulento.co.uk.
Recently we collaborated with Sutherlands of Portsoy, one of the fish merchants in the North East of Scotland to create retail products using our sauces as a marinade. In addition, we have new products that will be launched in the 2018 summer season.
