This event will take place at Ring 3 from 11:45 to 12:30
Craig Wilson, chef proprietor of Eat on the Green is exceptionally passionate about Scotland’s food and drink and goes the extra mile to work with local producers who share his ethos and passion for delivering the best.
After nearly 30 years in the industry, Craig has received wide recognition both from loyal guests who return time and time again and from local and national industry awards. He was also recently inducted into the Masterchefs of Great Britain.
In 2017, Craig partnered with Aberdeen International Airport to deliver a menu for its new Northern Lights VIP Lounge. Featuring an array of local produce from well-known brands such as Dean’s, Gordon Castle Gin and Mackie’s, Craig worked closely with these businesses to devise a tasting menu which immediately gives visitors a true flavour of Aberdeen City & Shire.
A committed supporter of cancer related charities, Craig has raised in excess of £250K through various challenges, food demonstrations, fundraisers and events. As the restaurant’s chosen charity for the last three years, Eat on the Green raised over £80,000 for north-east cancer charity, Friends of Anchor, a cause which is very close to Craig’s heart. Craig has cooked for dignitaries and VIPs across the world, travelling to New York as an ambassador for Scottish food and drink and hosting food and forage trips in the south of France.
In this demo, which is FREE thanks to sponsorship by Love Food Hate Waste / Zero Waste Scotland, Craig will be wowing the crowds with dishes using local produce.
