David has been in the hospitality industry for nearly 40 years. His aunt and uncle owned a hotel/restaurant where he used to work during the school holidays and therein created his love for the industry. For the past 5 years he has been at The Aberdeen Altens Hotel as Head Chef, where the team cooks fresh and varied food with dishes to suit all tastes. His all-time favorite Scottish ingredient is Beef which is full of flavor and so versatile, whether a simple steak or braised shin. He also embraces the wide variety of local produce on our doorstep and creates his menus with a mix of traditional, local and international dishes.
