Aberdeenshire Council is delighted once again to be a partner
of Taste of Grampian, a key event in the calendar. We recognise that food and
drink, and its relationship with farming and fishing, is of vital importance to
growing the Aberdeenshire economy.
Food and drink is a key sector in our Economic Development Strategy, the aim of which is to attract and support businesses through sustainable economic growth, diversification and regeneration within Aberdeenshire. Our food and drink offering is also a key part of growing the tourist and visitor economy.
We work in partnership with Opportunity North East (ONE) to deliver the North East of Scotland Food and Drink Network (formerly Grampian Food Forum) and the annual North East of Scotland Food and Drink Awards. The partnership aims to support the growth of the region’s food and drink industries and the awards celebrate innovation and excellence, whilst rewarding success in the food and drink sector. In addition, we support the Food and Drink Business Growth Programme run by ONE, which is uniquely designed to support owners and managers of local food and drink companies to develop and grow their business in Scotland, the UK and internationally.Visit the website
